VentX Slitter

VentX Slitter is a precision add-on system designed for pallet wrapping machines, developed to enhance the performance of standard stretch film so that it ventilates.

It converts a 500mm film roll into three controlled bands during the wrapping cycle, while maintaining consistent tension across the load.

The slitting function is manually engaged and adjustable, allowing operators to control when and how the film is slit based on load requirements. This provides greater flexibility across different applications while maintaining reliable wrapping performance.

VentX Slitter operates inline with the wrapping process, applying full-width film at the start and end of the cycle, with slit film used throughout the main wrapping phase to optimise efficiency, ventilation and load containment.

The film is split into 2 sections at the base, to provide a secure load while maintaining airflow from the start.

Main wrapping phase

3-band slitting

The 500mm film splits into 3 bands, maintaining tension while improving airflow around the load.

Load securing phase

3-band load lock

The three film bands apply targeted wraps to help lock and stabilise the load.

End of cycle

Final ventilated base wrap

The film returns to a 2 configuration at the base to secure the load and finish the wrap.
